If you cut through the foundational joists of your house and carve out large pieces that you don’t think are important, or that you don’t like, the building will eventually collapse. A trickle in a dam or dyke, if ignored, will grow larger as its integrity is eroded, until it one day bursts forth in destruction. One bad doctrine is like a rotting tooth: If you do not extract it, the rotting and infection will spread to all. Rejecting one Biblical doctrine in favor of humanism will only lead to discarding other Bible doctrines—and eventually discarding them all. That is why the majority of society is secular (and perverse) today; and that is why the majority of the so-called “Christian” Church is barely distinguishable from secular society. The majority of “Christians” do not believe the Doctrines of the Word of God or obey the Commands of God. Their “Christianity” is a mere lingering nostalgic traditon and folkway—and in one more generation, the new generation will discard even the pretense of faith, imagining that is it an obsolete superstition that really serves no purpose, and it shall be discarded entirely in favor of humanism, the pseudo-morality forced on all by the destroyers of Christendom, and “if it feels good, do it”. The only reason that Christmas continues to be recognized by society is because those holidays are actually pagan, not Christian. Christmas is Saturnalia introduced by the Roman Catholic Church, with a thin candy-coating of some Christian elements (and thus, a hybrid) in order to make pagans feel more comfortable in the “church”; which only results in the Christian Church becoming paganized. Compromise is a one-way street away from God. God forbade anything but what He commanded. The only reason Christmas is still observed is because it caters to human greed and because it centers around gift giving and parties and food and visiting with relatives. The masses have stripped away any ornaments of “Christianity” that attached to Christmas, and it is a secular “feel-good” winter holiday, which they observe as immorally as they care to; continuing in their sins, vices, and abominations and merely giving gifts and having a special meal. Easter, likewise is utterly pagan in it origins (and the one time that “Easter” appears in the Bible it is a mistranslation for the word Passover)—being derived from the worship of Ishtar. Some secular people may still observe Easter because it is “fun” for children, and a chance for them to receive special candy, go on Easter-egg hunts, and enjoy other traditions, and food and time with family.

The secularization of society (and of the “Church”) started with the mind pollution of Evolution—the fantasy that we all evolved from monkeys; that we all are the same; that God did not create Adamkind in His Own Image as the pinnacle of His creation; that we don’t need to obey the boundaries that our Creator established; that God does not exist. Evolution is a fairy tale for adults who hate God. Humanism places man as the sum and center of all things. Man decides for himself what is “right” and “wrong” (which changes every day, the more and more society degenerates into sin and abominations, calling evil “good” and good “evil”). The average Christian would be shocked to learn that 40-80% of “Christian” ministers deny the doctrines of the Bible, and even do not believe that the Bible is the Word of God, and even believe in evolution—and it has been this way in the U.S. since at least 1940. The Christian church and Christian institutions of learning in the U.S. were infiltrated by communists in the 1920s. Their infection has spread to the majority of so-called “Christian” churches.

The average pew sitter does not have a clue what the Bible says, and if they ever heard sound doctrine preached they would reject it—and they would crucify Jesus again if He returned as a Bible teacher. The majority of “Christians” think that Christianity is a generic “Jesus loves you”—and that is it: a free “get out of Hell free” card and nothing more. As I have called it for over a decade, this is “Touched By An Angel” theology, named for the long-running, popular, “feel-good” t.v. series, whose pseudo-christian philosophy and mantra mentioned at the end of nearly every episode: “God loves you just the way you are: there is no need to change a thing”. Sin, immorality, perversion, abominations, of course, were never mentioned... only a generic, non-itemized allusion to “mistakes”. However, in reality, Jesus is not Saviour for those for whom He is not also Lord. Scripture tells us,
“19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (I Corinthians 6)
Those who live as if they are their own, most probably were not bought with a price. Every tree is known by its fruit. When a tree bears apples, that does not “make” it an apple tree. An apple tree bears apples because that is what its Creator determined that apple trees should bear. True Christianity is Doctrine—every Command and Decree of God. Those who are “nondoctrinal Christians” are not Christians, but deluded humanists. Those who determine what is right or wrong, good or bad, moral or immoral, what they believe and practice, are not Christians, but humanists. Believing what God said and and obeying what God commanded does not save you; rather, believing and obeying are by-products of regeneration.
“3And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His Commandments. 4He that saith, ‘I know Him’, and keepeth not His Commandments, is a liar, and the Truth is not in him. 5But whoso keepeth His Word, in him verily is the Love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him. 6He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.” (I John 2)
Can a person be a “Christian” if he does not know God and if the Truth* is not in him...? Of course not.

Christ had no commandments of His Own, but were the self-same ones of the Father: “I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father hath taught Me, I speak these things” (John 8:28); “If ye keep My Commandments, ye shall abide in My Love; even as I have kept My Father’s Commandments, and abide in His Love” (John 15:10); “I and My Father are One” (John 10:30).
Calvinist Presbyterian minister, theologian, and philosopher, Dr. Gordon H. Clark (1902-1985), in his First and Second Thessalonians (1986, published posthumously), under I Thessalonians 2:13, wrote:

“Paul insists that his preaching, and how much more his writing, is in truth the word of God. This is what nearly all the large Protestant denominations deny. The two exceptions that come to mind are the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, and if not unanimously at least substantially, the Southern Baptists. Many small denominations still hold to their Christian faith. But to put things in their historical perspective, 1,300 members of the northern Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in 1924 signed and circulated The Auburn Affirmation, which ought to have been called, The Auburn Negation. The document stated that none of the signers believed the Bible to be inerrant. They agreed with Karl Barth’s declaration that the apostles even in their official apostolic letters have made false statements. The Auburn Affirmation then added that the Virgin Birth, the miracles, the Atonement, and the Resurrection are not essential to Christianity. In 1967 the Northern Church altered the ordination vows so that the ordinands would no longer need to commit perjury in order to be ordained, and also so that there remained no doctrine to which a minister had to subscribe. Since that date it has become evident that some of them do not even believe in the Deity of Christ. Note too that the General Assembly in 1983 defeated a motion to declare that Christ rose bodily from the grave.

“The inerrancy of Scripture is foundation to Christianity. If Paul’s assertion that his gospel came from God is false, we have no means of knowing how often he and the other Biblical writers have deceived us. By what criterion could we believe that John 3:16 or Genesis 1:1 was true?”
Why are these “pastors” mentioned above (and thousands more just like them) even ministers? Why do they even “play church” if they don’t really believe in God or the Bible? There is only one logical explanation, and that is they are deceived by Satan into thinking that they are Christians, who then serve the one purpose of destroying the Christian church from within by destroying Sound Doctrine and replacing it with humanism and even paganism. The same is done by the majority of individuals who enter politics or government service in the U.S. Not only do they not know the U.S. Constitution, they violate their oath of office to preserve and defend it, and they do all that they can to destroy and change it by their polluted, anti-intellectual modernist interpretations of it. They are traitors. The only legitimate interpretation of the Bible or the U.S. Constitution is what was intended by the Author at that time that it was written.
When Doctrine is discarded in favor of what sinful man thinks is more “progressive”, “fair”, etc., rather than what God declared, “Christianity” is reduced to the pseudo-spiritual humanism of Kierkegaard (who polluted the Danish Lutheran Church and much of the rest of Christian thought in all of Christendom) with his anti-christ notion that it does not matter what you believe as long as you believe it passionately. Just imagine how much-more apostate these above “demon-inations” have become in the past 40 / 56 / 99 years! Even those very few “Christians” who even go to church any more, most of them do not even know what sound theology is, or where their church / pastor stands on any given doctrine (many probably don’t even know that there is a thing called “doctrine”)... and if they go to church regularly and bring their children, their children’s minds are being marinated in false doctrine week after week. Thus, if they ever hear Sound Doctrine, they reject is as something perverse and horrible. Thomas Jefferson’s statement rings true: “He who knows nothing is closer to the truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehood and error”. It would be better for true Christians to stay at home and read the Bible for themselves and ask God to reveal the truth to them without any pastor or teacher. God has indeed ordained a hierarchy and it is His Plan for pastors to lead the flock. In this case, the sheep need to seek out the sound shepherd. But, in the event that they cannot find one locally, they need to realize that God also commanded separation in every area of life. This includes separation from unbelievers / infidels; and it is the Doctrine in the Bible that establishes what a “believer” is; and God also commands excommunication of all “believers” who live in violation of the Commands that God gave us. Morality never changes. Morality was established each time that God commanded: “Thou shalt not!” and “This shalt thou do!”—every single jot and tittle! God’s requirements and Standards do not change. What changes is that those who erroneously think of themselves as “Christians” become more and more like the world; which makes them enemies of God. The Biblical notion of “love” is NOT holding hands with evil. Scripture commands: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [rebuke] them.” (Ephesians 5:11)
False doctrine is not limited to churches and pastors, but also rampantly exists in most commentaries, ‘Christian” books and even “Christian” music. If you do not know the authentic, you cannot discern the counterfeit. The majority of “Christians” do not even know what the concepts of GOD and LORD even mean. The only true God is synonymous with CREATOR, and thus, like Lord, means MASTER and OWNER. The majority of “Christians” do not obey God because they do not fear God because they do not know Him. They have no desire to know Him; because they are spiritually dead and God has not quicked them to life. Their notion of God is a benign superstition and they only desire for God to put His “stamp of approval” on all they do. They have no desire to please Him, obey, or conform. They do not believe in Judgment. If they did, they would not live as they do.
