In 1840, Horace Mann (1796-1859) started the idea and practice of mandatory government education of children in the U.S. Although most sources refer to Mann as “the Father of American Education”, and hail him as a great education “reformer” — this is far from the truth.  Mann claimed to be “religious” and stated that he was not against religion in education.  This, however, was the “official version” (the “bait and switch”) given to cause people to think that there was no reason for concern.  Mann was a liberal Unitarian—far from being a Christian.  It is quite obvious that his religion was nothing but a dead superstition and that he was in his very core, a humanist.  In fact, even more astounding, he was a firm believer in phrenology; and he believed that education could overcome all of man’s moral and biological flaws...!  Mann served as Secretary of the newly created Massachusetts Board of Education (1837); and was a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Massachusetts’ 8th District (1848-1853) [being elected to fill the vacancy left by the passing of John Quincy Adams,* another Unitarian].

[* Interestingly, Adams was 6th U.S. President (1825-1829)—and after being President, he served in Massachusetts’ House of Representatives (1831-1848) until his death.  How odd that most who have (legitimately or illegitimately) served as U.S. President in our day, are thereafter “set for life” and would not stoop to have such a lowly office.  But then again, today former presidents unconstitutionally receive $400,000 / year pension for the rest of their lives, plus other benefits (and Secret Service protection for themselves and their families).  This is inconscionable.  Thomas Jefferson was so impoverished in 1815 he had to sell his personal library to the U.S. Government for money to live on.  Monroe was so impoverished, that after his wife’s death he had to move in with his daughter.  Truman had to move in with his mother-in-law.  It was during the Eisenhower Administration, in 1958, that, unconstitutionally, former presidents were to be awarded $25,000 / year ($1.36 million in today’s worthless currency—but don’t tell the politicians that or they will raise all of their own salaries, again).  All politicians who voted for it, and Eisenhower who signed it, should have been removed from office and arrested, tried, and sentenced for treason.  Unconstitutionally, the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) of 1920 provided pensions for most civilian employees of the U.S. Government.  In 1942 Congress voted to apply it to themselves—but there was so much public outcry they repealed it 2 months later; only to again pass it in 1946.  In 1984 this changed to the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS).  Servants are not supposed to live better than their masters.  Public service was not supposed to be a cash-cow riding on the perpetual Gravy Train (surviving spouses and children of politicians inherit their pension if they die).  Politicians should take part of their own salary and invest it for their retirement, insurance, etc.  The U.S. abolished nobility status—and their status is illegal, even if not called “aristocracy”.  According to

“Under the Former Presidents Act that Eisenhower signed, ex-presidents are entitled to a pension tied in amount to the salary of members of the cabinet. In 2001 this was $161,000.  In addition they receive the franking privilege—free mailing—for all nonpolitical correspondence, government paid-for office space and office staff, and allowances for travel.  The sum is now a $2.5 million annual entitlement.  In addition they have lifetime Secret Service protection for themselves and their spouse and for their children until they reach the age of sixteen.  Widows are protected until they remarry.”

“Until they remarry” may mean a never-ending ride on the Gravy Train, since it has been common for decades in a sinful society for people to “shack up” and live together as if they were married, without considering or calling it marriage.  Is it any wonder that the nation is in unrecoverable debt—and that the greedy, treasonous politicians just get richer...? (—they are also “paid off” and money is funneled to them in million-dollar book deals,* and high-salaried positions as “consultants” in various companies, and hundreds of thousands of dollars for giving a half-hour speech—often paid for by the taxpayers, since quite often these speeches are at U.S.-taxypayer-funded universities—etc.).  Every politician who benefits from such salaries and pensions is an accomplice in embezzlement, fraud, and grand theft.  It does not matter that their salaries and benefits are “the law”.  “The law”, even as any contract, cannot include those things that are illegal or unlawful.  Any “law” that is passed that is unconstitutional is VOID AB INITIO (invalid from its very inception), as if it had never been passed.  If a law were passed stating that Members of Congress could rape and murder anyone that they wanted to, would Members of Congress who raped and murdered someone be free of guilt...?  Of course not; and neither are they in their crime of receiving such inflated salaries, pensions, paid holidays, vacations, sick days, health insurance, and other benefits (which would require an entire book to discuss, including an entire, exclusive, under-ground shopping mall in D.C.).  It seems that renegade, treasonous, conspiratorial politicians believe that they should be able to become fabulously wealthy in office, and still have the people pay for the politicians’ retirement; which they should be able to provide with their own salaries and other sources of income, and personal wealth and investments.  But even if they are bankrupted by some tragedy, a turn in the economy, bad investments—they think that the American taxpayers should foot the bill so that they can continue to live the lives of aristocracy.  Only 8% of Americans are millionaires; over 50% of members of Congress are.  This is treason.

* —books that are falsely hailed as a “must read” in the media, since a tiny percentage of people actually ever buy these books.  If I remember correctly, only a few days or weeks after Hillary’s new book (What Happened) hit the market—the market hit back; the $30 hardback, was on the discount table for $1.  Even today, Amazon offers it for about $6.75 with free shipping.*  Publishers simply “write off” the loss on their taxes (and have money donated to them through other means, by the billionaire elite); after having funnelled money to corrupt politicians to continue to pay them off for their treason.  Of course, the irony was not lost on the average thinking mind, in that it was amazing that Hillary could remember 512 pages of information in her 2017 book, What Happened (and a paperback Spanish edition!), but under oath in an FBI-investigation she could not remember over 3 dozen questions that her job actually required her to know, since she was responsible for things done in her own office at her orders.

* This is another issue that is never addressed.  Amazon can only offer “free shipping” (regardless of item, even a 32-foot aluminum extension ladder weighing 63 lbs. and being 16 feet long, which shipping would cost a minimum of $150) because UPS, FEDEX, and the U.S. Postal Service given Amazon such an incredible deal (that they would probably go bankrupt giving, if Amazon was their only customer)—because UPS, FEDEX, and the U.S. Postal “Service” gouges the rest of us, charging us far more, to subsidize giving Amazon such a great price.  This is corruption and it is theft.  I recently shipped something UPS, which weighed under 1 lb. (and it was only going about 4 hours away), and it cost $18.00.]

Mann persuaded members of the Whig Party to pass laws in which tax money paid for elementary public education in their respective states—and feminized the teaching force; and Mann travelled to each state to supervise the work undertaken.  The Old Deluder Satan Act (1647) and other 17th-century Massachusetts School Laws were overtly Christian; and Mann secularized the schools, decreeing without authority that

“our Public Schools are not Theological Seminaries” and that the schools were “debarred by law from inculcating the peculiar and distinctive doctrines of any one religious denomination amongst us ... or all that is essential to religion or salvation”.

However, Mann used the “bait and switch”, the “step-down method” of humanism, which, incrementally, has as its plan to wean the peoples of Christendom off faith in God entirely.  He set the stage, the “foot in the door”, to get his secularization of the schools approved, which in time would eventually bar God entirely from the schools, though Mann claimed that God and the religion of the Bible would not be barred, but simply not taught overtly.  Mann said,

“our system earnestly inculcates all Christian morals; it founds its morals based on religion; it welcomes the religion of the Bible; and, in receiving the Bible, it allows it to do what it is allowed to do in no other system—to speak for itself.  But here it stops, not because it claims to have compassed all truth; but because it disclaims to act as an umpire between hostile religious opinions...”

[Again, understand, when the Reformers, Puritans, Pilgrims, and our Founders used the word religion, unless context specifically indicates otherwise, they solely used the word as a synonym for Christianity: for they were Christians and knew that God commanded, “no other gods”; and they knew what true religion was (that which God established).  So they did not include alien superstitions, doctrines established around demons, paganism, etc. to be “religion”.]

The U.S. Constitution did not bar Christianity or displays of Christian faith from government; it only prevented any single Christian denomination from obtaining a monopoly, or being officially recognized as the “National Denomination” of Christianity by the Federal Government.  However, the U.S. Constitution did not and could not bar the States from having an official Christian denomination (for the State Constitutions superseded the U.S. Constitution, and the U.S. Constitution had no authority to “override” or contradict those State Constitutions).  The authority of those States and of the legitimate people of those States (whom the elected and appointed officials represent) supersede that of the Federal Government, which was limited and specific and only intended to improve intercommunication, interstate interactions, and joining together in times of war against a common foreign enemy.  Government is a fictional entity; it does not exist (other than being a functional idea).  It cannot exist without people; and the only legitimate people are the true people.  A “hostile takeover” / conspiratorial coup d’étate (whether replacement by alien peoples or an overthrow of the States by the Federal Government) is not only unconstitutional, but it is High Treason.  The Common Law (of which Christianity is a part, the actual foundation) by which the U.S. Constitution is to be interpreted, maintains, “Individual liberty is antecedent to all government”.  This individual liberty is not generic or universal.  It refers to our people, in our nation—and the liberty extends only to the point that a person does not violate the Law of God or truly injure our kinsmen / countrymen.  The Common Law did not give anyone the “right” to violate the Law of God and commit abominations.  The Common Law and the Constitution did not give rights to anyone to destroy our people, faith, morality, or form of government.  Obviously, denominations differ in Christian doctrine, and such issues would cause controversy, and thus, the U.S. Constitution did not establish a national denomination of Christianity—but the Framers had no intention of offering equality and recognition or even the presence of “all religions” in our nation.  The very notion is absurd and anti-intellectual, violating all common sense as well as the very First Commandment: No other gods.  Mann denied that his system was anti-Christian or that it expelled the Bible; rather, he admitted that the Bible was nearly universally used in the Massachusetts’ schools, and also stated:

“it may not be easy theoretically, to draw the line between those views of religious truth and of Christian faith which is common to all, and may, therefore, with propriety be inculcated in schools, and those which, being peculiar to individual sects, are therefore by law excluded; still it is believed that no practical difficulty occurs in the conduct of our schools in this regard.”

Thus, based upon these things that Mann expressed, we cannot know (without other specifically damning statements) whether he was just run-of-the-mill Unitarian,* or actually knowingly engaged in overt anti-Christian conspiracy.

[* Unitarians do not believe that Jesus was / is God, Second Person of the Trinity; but that He was merely a good man / prophet.  They also reject original sin / total depravity and Hell.  Unitarians also, in contradiction, claim to believe that the Bible is their sole authority, when in reality they believe that human reason, and not creed, defines the search for truth.  Human reason is not the origin of theology / doctrine; however, the Word of God and all Truth is based upon Logic (which unchanging rules).  Humanism and humanistic “Christian” denominations have turned to “nondoctrinal Christianity”—which is not Christianity, but an emotion-oriented “feel-good” humanism because they reject the Doctrine of the Word of God; because they are lovers of themselves and pleasure, more than lovers of God, truth, and righteousness.]

According to John Eidsmoe, Mann thought,

“that education could improve human nature to the point where crime, poverty, and other evils could be virtually eliminated. [Mann] wrote in The Common School Journal,

‘Let the common school be expanded to its natural capabilities, let it be worked with the efficiency of which is it susceptible, and nine-tenths of the crimes in the penal code would become obsolete; the long catalog of human ills would be abridged; men would walk more safely by day; every pillow would be more inviolable by night; property, life, and character held by a stronger tenure; all rational hope toward the future brightened.’

“Mann and his followers have had their way with American education for the past one hundred and forty years.  Their prophesies have not proven correct.” (p. 141)

[Eidsmoe wrote this in 1984 (in his book, God & Caesar: Biblical Faith and Political Action; inquire for price), thus, it seems, he was referring to the year 1844, and from that time up to our date in 2022 it would be 178 years that Mann’s “utopia” has not only not materialized—but has revealed itself as a hideous nightmare; and had the people of the U.S. had a crystal ball or time machine to see what corrupt politicians have done over the past 178 years to our entire nation, as well as to the public school system—every single politician who voted in favor of it would have been before a firing squad or danging at the end of a noose.  If the “proof of the pudding is in the eating” and “every tree is known by its fruit” then Mann’s philosophy is exposed for the diseased and rancid fruit that it has produced.  Far from eliminating crime and immorality, it has aggravated it and acted as fertilizer; rather an an herbicide—because at the same time, the corrupt politicians have unleashed 100 million aliens among us.... Yet criminal politicians and fools continue to spew this nonsense as if it was truth.  But in order to believe it and envision their utopia, you have to close your eyes to reality, and to the facts (and while your eyes are closed, daydreaming, the corrupt politicians and the aliens continue committing more crimes to destroy us).  We will discuss this topic in chapter 3.]

Mann wanted to establish mandatory state education because that is one of the tenets of socialism (the State educates the children in the ways of the State); he also wanted to take education out of the hands of the Calvinist churches that had founded and had been operating the schools.  In a Socialist society, the State is “god”.  Despite the constant cooing (more properly, braying) of “equality” and “tolerance” no other gods are tolerated.  Although Mann is made out to be a great “reformer”—he was just the opposite: a destroyer.   We have already reviewed [in a previous sub-section] what the schools were like before he “reformed them”.   We have also seen what the shocking statistics of the massive size of the problem were in 1982; and they have only grown exponentially worse ever since.  It is the planned destruction and perversion of the minds of our children; the promiscuous amalgamationism that is taught is the final stake driven through the heart.

One interesting point to note is that Mann himself was not an “educator”; he was never even a primary school teacher—he was a lawyer.  This fact alone should cause people to question everything that he did; and investigate what was really going on.  When a lawyer leaves a lucrative practice to enter a field in which he is ignorant, untrained, and unqualified one needs to raise more than his eyebrows.  When the same liberal Unitarian lawyer then endeavors to take education out of the hands of the true Christian Church and put it into the hands of a humanistic State—it is not just a coincidence and it is not for the “greater good”.  Let us look at the “reform” that he affected with the primary tool of progressive, effective learning: reading.

Reverend Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet, LL.D. (1787-1851) was a Philadelphia-born educator of deaf and dumb children.  He explained:

“Since deaf-mutes have no conception of a spoken language, they could not learn a sound-symbol method of reading. Instead, they were taught to read by way of a purely sight method consisting of pictures and whole words. Thus, as far as the deaf pupil was concerned, the written language represented ideas only and had nothing to do with sounds made by the tongue and vocal chords.” (Blumenfeld)

Gallaudet thought maybe these methods could be applied to normal children.

[Yes, it makes perfect sense... and I guess people who are not blind ought to learn how to walk by being blindfolded and being given a blind-man’s walking stick...!  Should we not also train healthy children to walk, as if they were cripples, giving them a crutch or a walker...? should we put them in a wheelchair from birth...? should we not treat normal children as if they are mentally retarded, and teach them all things, as if they were mentally retarded...?  Of course not.  Doing so would not help them.  Doing so would retard them.]

Glenn Doman (1919-2013) of the Institute for the Achievement of Human Potential (on Stenton Avenue in Wyndmoor, a suburb of Philadelphia, just outside Chestnut Hill), founded in 1955, with his Better Baby curricula (though completely secular and not Christian), improved on methods of teaching children from infancy (though any humanistic, behaviouralism that is unbiblical, like never saying “no”,* but that you should only organize your words in positive fashion,* should be ignored).

[* I do not know for certain if that is actually something in his literature.  Someone whom I knew who followed the Better Baby curricula with her sons frequently expressed such sentiments and avoided anything that would hurt the little darlings’ feelings (but I do not know if that was actually taught in the Better Baby course, or if that was just a massive flaw in her moral / Christian character) — and in so doing, she sinned against God, worked flaws into the egos and moral character of her sons, and in a sense practiced the very opposite of what God commanded.  Furthermore, it also ignores known truth.  American psychologist and philosopher, Raymond B. Cattell (1905-1998) astutely noted, “[A] much neglected psychological truth is that learning tends to occur after frustrations.” (A New Morality From Science: Beyondism, chapter 5)

Furthermore, Gallaudet’s method for normal children dumbed them down.  How anyone could not have realized this from the very beginning is dumbfounding.  When a baby starts to babble, if adults (or other children) around only babble in return, that stymies the ability of the infant to learn language.  Yes, it is fun and cute for adults—but a parent (or sibling or anyone) who revels in the cuteness, is satiating his own selfish desires of enjoying the cuteness, and establishing a life-long pattern of “babying” the child, which not only stymies learning, but also character.  Children need to learn that they cannot always have what they want.  Adults can’t always have what they want.  Adults can’t always prevent having their own feelings hurt.  Raising snowflakes demonstrates hatred of your child and hatred of God; even as God said he that spareth the rod hateth his son.  It is mental, moral, and spiritual deficiency in such parents, who, I believe, subconsciously attempt to relive their own childhood through their children—which continues even into young adulthood.  It is selfishness on their part, while they are aging, to want to relive their own youth through their children, to their children’s detriment.  I knew one woman who homeschooled her child, who was doing this very thing.  She even said when the daughter was reaching the age to go to college that she wanted to move away with her daughter and live in the same dorm with her (which demonstrates how little she cared about her husband, or her daughter, and how godless and selfish and deluded she was).  When I heard it, all I could think was, “Oh that poor child!”  I believe the girl (who was 18 or so) was probably thinking the same thing, but would never dare express it aloud; or the “loving mother” would turn into a vicious tiger in an instant (further demonstrating that it was not “love”, but selfishness).]

Regardless of any flaws, Doman’s ideas are revolutionary.  We, incorrectly, teach the recognition of a mass of items—let’s use the most-common example: dots on dominoes are learned and recognized not by number, but by pattern.  Raised in that fashion, even most adults’ minds are hobbled (as tying a horse’s front legs, to its back legs, with just enough slack in the rope to take tiny steps, and not enough to trot, let alone gallop, canter, run, or race).  However, according to Doman, by teaching children, from infancy, before they can even talk or read, with flash cards in rapid succession, showing the infant the card up close, within maybe a foot of the face, while clearly enunciating the word that describes the picture and word or number on the card, the child begins learning far sooner, and talking sooner.  Helping exercise the infant’s muscles, balance, movements with various exercises, from the earliest age, develops the related areas in the brain sooner, improving motor skills and helps develop the brain itself earlier.

Similarly, the flash cards for numbers have the dots for each card arranged randomly, not in domino-type patterns; and being taught this way from infancy, children, and later adults can recognize, perceive (I forget the number, possibly over) 75 random anything at a glance; such as cows or bales of hay in a field, marbles or pennies dumped out on the floor, chairs, people, birds in the sky or on an electric wire, etc.).  Doman even took mentally retarded children with profound brain-stem damage and trained them to be virtuosos on the violin, among other things.

Again, I am not endorsing every thing that Doman teaches.  I am pointing out that the U.S. government (despite far-better methods of learning being available—and despite the fact that the Puritan tradition and McGuffey Readers, New England Primer, etc. (all available; inquire) produced a far-higher level of intelligence and literacy that anything that the U.S. Government has implemented since the time of Mann.  The corrupt elected and appointed representatives of the U.S. Government and their wealthy, elite handlers have been in conspiracy and purposely dumbed down our population, while importing the Third-world and putting them on a taxpayer-funded breeding program, to create an entire slave-labor class of drones to serve them.  Since the politicians have raised their own salaries and benefits, they live like aristocracy, and their children go to the best private pre-schools, preparatory schools, and universities; and their children (and those of the wealthy elite) will be the only ones “intelligent” enough to secure the best jobs, the jobs with the most power, the highest paychecks and full benefits, and all government positions of the highest echelon.  Their artificially “re-created” difference between the classes (in a society that pretends that there is no class division) will result in there being only the superrich and the poor; the middle class being devoured by both.

The phoney Covidihoax Plannedemic was used to achieve this even quicker.  While a large percentage of the common American was out of work and savings were depleted and millions of small businesses failed, never to reopen, as many states ILLEGALLY shut down—the wealthy got wealthier.

Despite doing more business during the “pandemic” than in the previous 20 years, the U.S. Post Office received “Covid Relief” money—unconstitutionally, for several reasons, but also since they are supposed to be self-funding, and continue to raise prices and lower service year after year, while the CEOs live as kings and “public servants” of the rank-and-file Post Office (as with most all government jobs) live far-better than the common man.  Government employees may not have the largest paychecks, but they receive full insurance, paid holidays, paid sick days, paid vacations; which roll over and can accrue massively.  Two persons (that I know of) in the tiny post office in my small town “called in sick” for 6 months, receiving all the back benefits—and still receiving full insurance and continued holiday, sick day, and vacations during that period—and then when those days were all used up, they “retired”.  Imagine what it is like in larger towns and megacities.  Is there any wonder that our so-called “National” Debt is so massive...?  Postal workers, as most all Federal employees, cannot even be fired, even for incompetence.

The United States gave economic birth to 2,251,000 new millionaires from 2019 to 2020 alone; from 2020 to 2021 another 1.3 million millionaires hatched.  There are currently (2022) 21,951,200 millionaires in the U.S. (an increase of 7.35 million) and 2022 is not even half over yet (as of May).  The USA has 724 billionaires (as of May 2022); that figure is down from 788 (at the end of 2019), because there is no honor among thieves and to some degree the larger billionaires can only increase their wealth by cannibalizing other billionaires.  Regardless, though there are 64 less billionaires in the U.S. since 2 years ago, certainly that does not account for the massive increase of millionaires.  In 1999 there were only 3,300,000 millionaires and 49 billionaires in the U.S.  As of the first quarter of 2021, the top 10% of people in the U.S. owned 70% of total U.S. net worth (all their assets minus all their liabilities); the top 1% of them own 32% of the wealth; the other 9% of the top 10% own about 38% of the wealth.  The wealthiest 1% of people in the U.S. increased their wealth by $6.5 trillion in 2021.  The top 1% of the U.S. population jointly own $45.9 trillion (as of the end of 2021); and their combined wealth increased by over $12 trillion—over 1/3, during the so-called “pandemic”.   Worldwide there are 2,755 billionaires.  Cui Bono...?

[Understand also, part of this surge in millionaires and billionaires is a false perception, a false reality produced by government counterfeiting and devaluation of the dollar; which is what causes the illusion of the rise in prices.  However, prices do not actually rise; the value of the dollar decreases, and it takes more of them to purchase the same thing that they used to, before the government counterfeited further (printing worthless paper and stamping worthless coin, with zero gold, silver, or other precious metals to back each paper bill or coin—which are supposed to function as “warehouse receipts”).  They took “payable in demand” in gold or silver off the paper long ago; and they denuded all the coin of the silver, copper, and nickle that it used to have.  Each dollar is worth less when the government counterfeits—and it is a crime, Grand Theft, High Treason, and actually an attempt to overthrow the true Government of the United States—the true people (not imported Third World peoples in the criminal attempt steal our nation from us, and replace us, which is also genocide).  In 1999 gold was $279 / oz.  Today, it seems to fluctuate massively; but in reality it doesn’t.  Since gold is nearly $2,000 / oz., a drop of $100 a day is a mere 5%.  We will just consider gold at an averge price of $1,900 during 2022 so far.  So, if a person in 1999 had $250,000; that same value today is $1.7 million—all those persons with that much money, in the course of 2 decades, are magically made millionaires, if they had $250,000 in gold (or many other things of real value) and had not touched it.  This is not actually an investment, but merely a method of retaining the actual value of your money.]

Mann, who became Secretary of the Massachusetts Board of Education heartily endorsed this unproven “look-say” method because he was critical of the traditional alphabet-phonics method and wanted to “liberate children from academic tyranny” (Blumenfeld).  Interesting, there was a 95% literacy rate and a high level of education—and the U.S. was a world leader in education and literacy—yet he thought of this success as “tyranny” from which students needed “liberation” and that the academic methods needed “reform”.  Well, since Mann “liberated” education from the “tyranny” of the Christian churches, let us see further how the children have enjoyed their “freedom” (in addition to all the statistics that we have already seen in a previous sub-section).

According to Rudolf Flesch, this “look-say” method “is totally wrong and flies in the face of all logic and common sense”.  He stated that this new method was like hieroglyphics; it no longer taught English as a symbol-sound system, but taught it as Chinese would be taught, as an ideographic system.*  In order to “learn” with this system one had to be an expert guesser, or have a photographic memory (Blumenfeld).

[* Is it a grand coincidence that since about 1993 and the Bill Clinton Regime, the U.S. has given our economy to China and enriched our enemy, Communist China...? to the tune of about $35 billion a year, which increased about $7 billion a year for several years, then $10 billion / year increase, then $20 billion / year increase, then $40 billion / year billion increase, then $100 billion / year increase in 2021.  Despite the “pandemic” the U.S. imported $506 billion / year in inferior products from China.  The total amount of this treason, amounts to many trillions.  Additionally, at the same time that the U.S. was enriching our greatest enemy, communist China, the corrupt U.S. politicians allowed—even encouraged millions of communist Chinese to immigrate to the U.S. (in addition to massive numbers from all other Asiatic nations, and African nations, and Hispanic nations, and Muslim nations).  According to the 2010 census, the Chinese-American population numbered about 4 million.  That is 4 million Americans out of jobs; in addition to closing down factories in the U.S., shipping them to China, and further giving China trillions of dollars by purchasing Chinese-made products (which all-too-soon overburden our landfills).  See:

I have written since 1990: It makes little difference if jobs are not kept in America, if in America Americans are not kept in jobs.  It robs us and destroys our nation, our people, our faith, our form of government, our philosophy, our culture—and enriches and empowers our enemies, whether we ship the jobs overseas; or import aliens into the U.S. to take the jobs.  It is a sin against God to help the world.  That is Antichrist Evangelism that is taught and implemented to destroy Christendom.  Let the world take care of their own.  Our only responsibility before God is what He actually commanded: our own people, who live morally in obedience to Him, and profess truth and the unchanging morality that He established—and God actually forbade helping any other in any way.  Scripture tells us that anyone who denies that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, God Himself, is antichrist (I John 2:22; 4:3; II John 1:7) and if any even of our own kinsmen reject the Doctrine of Christ (the Full Counsel of the Word of God)—if you even bid him “God speed” (any well-wish or blessing) you share, are accomplices in their wicked deeds (II John 1:10,11).  If you bless and help antichrist, what does that make you?  He who would be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.]

Mann started the first state-owned and operated teacher’s college in 1839.  Gallaudet was offered the directorship, but turned it down (maybe he knew it was doomed to fail and did not want to be the one to take the blame; and thus, he could always say that it was not his idea that was flawed, but the poor implementation of his ideas by whoever was in charge).  Thus, the Normal School (which should have been called the Abnormal School) at Lexington, Massachusetts became the very first teacher’s college in America; it taught its students (the future teachers of our nation) the “whole-word method” of reading as the “preferred” and “superior” method of teaching reading.  As Blumenfeld put it,

“Thus educational quackery not only got a great running start with state-controlled teacher training, but became a permanent part of it.”

Expert denouncement of this “look-say” method quashed its widespread implementation, but did not completely destroy its credibility.

[This whole-word method may be the only way that deaf-mutes can learn, but it greatly damages a nonhandicapped child’s ability to learn; since the learning of most every subject depends on reading, children were rendered practically unteachable—semi-lobotomized.]

Around the turn of the Twentieth Century (1900’s) the whole-word method began to make its comeback and eventually became the predominant method of instruction in the public schools.  It was advanced along with a “new progressive philosophy of education” by the humanistic socialist John Dewey (1859-1952), who was one of the signers of the Humanist Manifesto, 1933.*

Dewey said—and note this carefully; this was not some grand secret told by some unknown person behind the scenes:

“The children who know how to think for themselves spoil the harmony of the collective society of the future, where everyone would be interdependent.” (1899)

Is it just a coincidence that John D. Rockefeller was one of the patrons of Dewey’s Lincoln School where the destiny of America’s education was cast (or, maybe “forged” would be a more-appriopriate word)...?  I wonder what connections Mann and Dewey had.  Was there someone behind the scenes from whom they “took their orders” to sabotage the U.S. education system, or were Mann and Dewey inherently stupid?  It really causes one to wonder.  Mann himself became the first president of Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, in 1852.  This college had and continues to have very liberal, humanistic, and socialistic values. ....

Antioch College, was founded in 1850 by the Christian Connection, a non-denominational Christian organization. .... After the Civil War it opened affiliated with the Unitarian Church.  President, Mann’s salary, for about 40 years, had been $3,000 / year; while in 1900 (half a century later) the president was given only $1,500 / year, and some claim that teachers were underpaid, receiving only $500 - 700 / year.  However, in 1900, when gold was still roughly $19 / oz. this was equivalent in 2022, with gold at 1,900 / oz. to $50,000 - $70,000 / year which is not too shabby, even though back in 1900 they did not have all the benefits and perks—there was no Federal Income Tax...! (which was ratified in 1913*¹) and there was no State Income Tax in Ohio until 1972...!  I think that they got paid MORE back then, when you consider these other factors.  Regardless, Dewey was clearly massively overpaid (spelled, “pay-off”), receiving the equivalent of $300,000 / year in today’s money).  In 1919 the YMCA bought Antioch College and a board of trustees of businessmen replaced the board of trustees of ministers.  In 1943 the college Race Relations Committee began offering scholarships to non-whites to help diversify the college.  In the 1990s they achieved notariety due to rape accusations on campus, and the college (showing its nonchristian nature) established rules where students had to formally consent, somehow, to have sex with each other, to prevent rape allegations.*²

[*¹ —but even then, it was nothing like it is today: When it became effective, the Federal Income tax was 1% on incomes above $3,000 [$300,000 in today’s currency], with a top tax rate of 6% on those earning more than $500,000 [$50 million in today’s currency] per year.  Only about 3% of the U.S. population was subject to the Federal Income Tax—but it was the “foot in the door” for the corrupt politicians to takeover your entire house.

*² Do they not know the Bible’s position on sex outside of a valid marriage, and that parents did not send their children to expensive colleges to have sex with other promiscuous strangers carrying who knows what disease...?]

In the mid 2000s the school almost folded due to mismanagement and bookkeeping “errors” that later, when “discovered” revealed its debt was actually double the crippling amount of what they “thought” it was.  In 2021 Antioch College’s President Dr. Jane (Kelleher) Fernandes (she is presumably married to a Latino / Portuguese) introduced herself to the student body in her speech, “I am Jane Fernandes; my pronouns are she, they”.  Really? she is at times more than one person?  In this address of “theirs” on October 23, “Dr. they” said,

“Up until now, most of American democracy has been based in primarily White neighborhoods with “other” people added in.  Antioch centers diverse students in our community and governance; our graduates leave here already knowing how to create equitable communities of people with expansive age, gender, race, and sexual orientation diversity.” (from the school’s website: https://antiochcollege.edu/sotc21/ )

[Really...? —and how was China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Burma (Myamar), Ceylon (Sri Lanka), Saudi Arabia, the State of Israeli, Nigeria, Kenya, Mexico, Columbia, the Polynesian isles, the United Arab Emirates “primarily based”...?  Do we see those nations committing national suicide by becoming a tolerant, inclusive, egalitarian, pluralistic society in race, religion, political ideaology...?]

It seems that Ohio, sadly, was a hot-bed of liberal socialist activity posing as “Christian”; after its beginnings as a farming community of largely Amish and Mennonite German and Bohemian Moravian settlers.  Ohio was not legally a State in the U.S. from 1803 until 1953* (for without congressional approval of the State Constitution, legally [which means little-to-nothing to modern politicians, mere “technicalities”] Ohio remained part of the Northwest Territory).  In 1953, while planning for their sesquicentennial someone realized the error, and Representative George H. Bender who had been a U.S. Representative since 1938, introduced legislation for Congress to vote, legally making Ohio a State of the United States.  However, since Ohio was not a State (as the legislation itself admitted), Bender could not introduce legislation, for he was not legally a Representative.  Regardless, it was voted upon and Ohio was unconstitutionally voted into Statehood retroactively.  Having 8 U.S. Presidents from the State of Ohio before that time, means that none of the bills signed into Law were legal, because those men had no legal authority to be president; neither were any other bills signed into law in which Ohioan Congressmen’s votes would have changed the outcome of the vote (and of course, members of the Supreme Court, who were Ohioans, made legal rulings without authority).  Of course, once the Federalists gained control of the nation after the so-called Civil War, the Rule of Law and the Constitution became meaningless, and is only recognized when it is to their benefit (and mostly grotesquely twisted).

Another liberal “Christian” (now only in its historical founding) institution, 136 miles northeast from Antioch College is Oberlin College (Oberlin,*¹ Ohio, founded 1833).  It was co-founded by American Masonic lawyer turned-evangelist (who defected from Reformed Theology) Charles Finney, and a group of abolitionists, Presbyterian ministers Philo Stewart (who was a missionary to the Cherokee Indians in Mississippi) and John Shipherd.  Titus Street (founder of Streetsboro, Ohio) and Samuel Hughes (who lived in Connecticut) donated 500 acres on which the school was built.  Shipherd and Stewert named the school after Alsatian*² minister Jean-Frédéric [Johann Friedrich] Oberlin, who had brought “social Christianity” (a combination of socialism and communist politics and Marxist economics, twisting Christianity to make it appear legitimate) to his town; and Shipherd and Stewart desired to achieve the same in the Western Reserve region of northeastern Ohio.

[*¹ 31 miles southwest of Cleveland; 100 miles north-northeast of Columbus; 74 miles southeast of Toledo.  Oberlin College currently has a billion dollar endowment, with only 2,800 students.

*² Alsatian, sometimes referred to historically as Alsace-Lorraine (now called Alsace-Moselle) was once a people, with their own language, (Alemannic German dialects) and land, between northeastern France and western Germany, the area below Belgium and Luxembourg, and above Switzerland.  Ownership of the region was under dispute by Germany and France, and its possession changed 5 times since 1681.  It has been considered part of France since the end of WWII.]

Actually, the charter / covenant / statement of faith of Oberlin sounded rather noble, in most respects, desiring to form a Christian community of Christian families.

“Each member of the colony shall consider himself a steward of the Lord, & hold only so much property as he can advantageously manage for the Lord.  Everyone, regardless of worldly maxims, shall return to Gospel simplicity of dress, diet, houses, and furniture, all appertaining to him, & be industrious & economical with the view of earning & saving as much as possible, not to hoard up for old age, & for children, but to glorify God in the salvation of men: And that no one need to be tempted to hoard up, the colonists (as members of one body, of which Christ is the head), mutually pledge that they will provide in all respects for the widowed, orphan, & all the needy as well as for themselves & households.”

The flaw came from the ... defective theology of Charles Finney and the other ... supporters, including Shipherd and Stewert... Originally, the institute was to teach only English and useful languages, and if God so directed them, “practical theology”.  That term itself is the fly in the ointment.  I wonder if God realized how much of the Doctrine that He gave us about Himself is, “unpractical” (unnecessary, useless—not fit to be taught, let alone practiced).  However, they did require high moral standards (other than their rebellion against God’s Word in the matter of integration...): no tobacco of any type; no coffee or tea; no jewelry; no tight dresses, fancy houses, fancy furniture, or fancy carriages.  But did not Christ declare?— “⁷Howbeit in vain do they worship Me, teaching [instead of what I commanded] for doctrines the commandments of men.  ⁸For laying aside the Commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men...” (Mark 7)  They espoused a vision of Utopian perfectionism and thought that it would be a missionary center that would evangelize and change the world.  It changed the world all right!  As Scripture says, “It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way” (Proverbs 19:2; 1978 NIV*¹).  Their misunderstanding of “charity” was indiscriminate humanism, and violated the Word of God.  Their desire to avoid materialism and being worldly was good; but their notions of communism were unbiblical.  Simply because the disciples with Christ and shortly thereafter had all*² things in common does not mean that “everyone” should, and nowhere does God command it; but rather teaches the opposite (even in Christ’s Parable of the talents entrusted to the 3 stewards; as well as in God’s Command to work, that the servant is worthy of his hire, that the husbandman has right to his property and crops, and the Law of the Harvest itself; as well as God’s Command against stealing—if all things are held in common and no one owns anything, theft is impossible).

[*¹ which generally is a modernist, watered-down translation, which at times is more like a paraphrase, as the translators produced a “free rendering or amplification of a passage” (while at the same time, it seems to play down the concepts of sin, blood, atonement, repentance, etc. as it even does in the passage that we are now considering; see my book, Which Bible...?, 510pp., pb., 27.50 + P&H).  However, in this one verse, the NIV at least expresses a profound thought; although whether zeal is a valid translation, is doubtful.  In the NIV’s revision (1978 or 1983) they changed it to the less captivating, “Desire without knowledge is not good—how much more will hasty feet miss the way!” (and desire is probably not a valid translation either, any more than zeal, since the Hebrew word is #5315 nephesh, “soul” (literally, “breathing creature”; from the root, the verb #5314 naw-phahsh, “to breathe”).  The KJV translates, “Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth”.  However, “miss the way” in this passage is a valid translation: for the Hebrew word is #2398 khaw-taw, “to miss; hence (figuratively and generally) to sin; by inference to forfeit, lack, expiate, repent, (causatively) lead astray, condemn:—bear the blame, cleanse, commit [sin], by fault, harm he hath done, loss, miss, (make) offend (-er), offer for sin, purge, purify (self), make reconciliation, (cause, make) sin (-ful, -ness), trespassive”.  It is the same word used in Judges 20:16 of the Benjamite slinger’s who were so skilled that they could sling at a hair’s breadth and not miss.  Since the word “feet” is used, “miss [the way]” indeed is a valid translation; and the insertion of the word [the way] is not necessarily wrong; since the KJV (see above words in italics in the KJV) adds 5 other words to this verse to complete the thought.  Being without knowledge, this verse says, “is not good”; it does not say that it is wicked; therefore, it may be that “miss the way” is intended, and not a moral judgment “sinneth”.

*² Also, the Hebrew and Greek (#3956 pahss) words for “all” do not mean a universal, “every last one”, “all-inclusive all” except when context specifically indicates it, which is rare; and even in this verse, it does not necessarily so mean.  The “all who believed”, indeed, is pahss, but the “all things common” is #537 ^hahp-ahss (a + pahss), which is a more-emphatic, unified pahss, but still does not truly mean, in this verse, a universal “every last one”.  Certainly the clothes that each person was wearing were not “everyones” property to take and use at their will, off the other person.  The phrase “every man in need” does not contain the word “man”, and does not actually mean “every”; it is the Greek word #5100 tiss, and means, “some, any” and should probably simply be rendered “those” in need.

This transpired specifically at Pentecost, when God’s Spirit was poured out upon His people to convert them (not aliens*); and Acts 2:42-47 also explains that they also “performed signs and wonders” (miracles), even as Christ did, as a sign that they were true Prophets.  Did these proponents of Christian communism the founders of Oberlin, did they perform miracles?  Also, in the Scripture passage, no mention is made of anyone going out fishing, plowing, planting crops, or pursuing their occupations because they were at Jerusalem for the Feast of Pentecost.  They “continued there” for the duration of the Feast—not for the rest of their lives.  It does not mean that they sold every last possession, but it would seem, only any superfluity, to supply the needs of those at the Feast, if any were in need, while they were at the Feast—and only God’s people were at the Feast (aliens were not allowed, by God’s Command, only kinsmen-strangers).  Clearly, those called to full-time ministry at that time (Pentecost), such as the Apostles, who were called by Christ, who had travelled with Him and stayed with Him for 3 years, they may have sold all their possessions that they did not need (but most of them were young men, probably in their late teens, other than Peter), since they travelled most of the time.  However, even the Apostles, most probably, did not sell everything (and most of them, being teens, did not own much).  James and John were brothers and with their father had a fishing business.  Peter also, had his own fishing boat—and a mother-in-law; so he had a wife (whom he was obligated to provide for).  So, this event at Pentecost did not mean that all sold every last thing that they owned; and the recording of this in Scripture does not mean that “every” person should do likewise; because all were not called to be itinerate preachers; and itinerate preachers can’t carry all their possessions with them, nor can they cannot support a family and their own needs without a church to support them as full-time pastors and evangelists (and Scripture says, “he who does not provide for his own house has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel”).  God established that the pastors / evangelists were to be supported by a tithe from those members of the church who did work and earn a living from their occupations.  God did not command all to have 100% in common, which is anti-intellectual and unbiblical.  To whom much is given much shall be required.  You reap what you sow.  He that soweth sparingly shall reap sparingly.  He that soweth bountifully shall reap bountifully.  The laborer is worthy of his hire (God does not say that someone else, let alone, “everyone” has equal right to the wages of the individual person who labors).  Scripture also commands, “Thou shalt not steal”; which is what is done when someone thinks that he has right to someone else’s wealth and his labor that produces that wealth.  If no one owns anything, no one can steal, so the 6th Commandment is unnecessary (and God does not give senseless Commands).  God commanded: “Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which He hath given thee.” (Deuteronomy 16:17)  This verse, as many others (such as the Parable of the Stewards and the Talents entrusted to them by their lord) indicate that God does not bless all equally.

Storing up wealth is the only way to improve ones own life (unless one violates the Law of God and borrows at usury—which brings a person into the bondage of debt—and enriches the money lender); and storing up wealth is the only way that each successive generation can live higher than the previous.  Had the Oberlin covenant been the manner in which everyone lived—we would all still be riding horses and sweating and breaking our backs to accomplish very little.  There would be no tractor, backhoe, bulldozer, chainsaw, power tools—or air conditioner, indoor plumbing, hot water heaters, computers, telephones, or modern printing presses and book binding (all of which save incredible amount of time and back-breaking labor, and increases production and brings the cost of things down dramatically).  The vast majority of people would have been poor farmers eeking out a living.  In many ways, indeed, society would be far better if most lived closer to the earth, in some ways, as the Amish and Mennonites; but technology itself is not sin.  Furthermore, if one does not invest in himself and his own family (which is his first responsibility), unless one “evangelizes” every last nonChristian in the current generation, the wicked will quickly outgrow the righteous (or presumed righteous), even as weeds outgrow and choke the life from the good plants in a garden.  This is what has happened to Christendom.  Christians allowed the true doctrine of Christ to be replaced by the subversive  Babylonian doctrine of Gandhi.  The majority of “Christians”, therefore, follow a false Christ and worship a false god—a world-pleasing god.  Babylon means, “confusion by mixing”.  God commanded His people to be separate and holy unto Him.

The notion that “God hates the sin and loves the sinner” is not Christianity.  It is not Bible doctrine.  The Hindu Gandhi made that statement of false doctrine popular.  In reality, this is humanism that has replaced Christianity, and spuriously calls itself by the name of “Christian”.  Gandhi himself may have plagiarized the unbiblical notion, from—shamefully—the Reformed theologian, minister, hymnist (and Moderator of the General Assembly of the Free Church of Scotland) the Scotsman Horatius Bonar, in his otherwise classic book, The Everlasting Righteousness (1873).  But Scripture paints an entirely different picture (and one that is not rainbow colored).  God declares that it is the soul (the person), not merely the “sin” that He hates (Psalm 5:5; 11:5); that He despises workers of wickedness (Psalm 53:5c) and that He is angry with the sinner, not merely with the “sin” (7:11).  Furthermore, it is not the “sin” that God shall cast into Hell, but the unregenerate sinner; and it is not the “sin” that Jesus died for, but for the elect of His people.  It is not merely the “wickedness” of the vessels of wrath that God created for destruction—but the vessels of wrath themselves.  Sadly, most “Christians” are idolators, who create a false god in their mind, in their own image, after their own likeness.  They shall be surprised on the Day of Judgment.  Such words (God loves you—to those whom He does not love) are the “smooth sayings” that people with “itching ears” (ears that want to be itched so that there is an excuse to then scratch them; a self-fulfilling prophecy) want to be preached—a “feel good” humanism: “Touched by an Angel” theology.  But it is Antichrist.  Sinful man (even masquerading as “Christian”) wants reality to be as he desires that it should be; and he expects God to silently conform.  But, it is the humanistic “step down” plan, for “Christians” to wean themselves off God entirely; for once theology is replaced with humanism there is no more need for God.  Therefore, He is dispensed with as an old crutch; an obsolete idea; a relic of antiquated embarrassment; a can opener in an age in which tin cans are no longer used, even “outlawed”.  God forbids us to love the ungodly or to do good unto them that hate Him.  God forbids us forever, to seek their peace or prosperity; we are to have no treaties or covenants with them; we are not to give our sons or daughters to them in marriage; and even our own kinsmen who reject the Doctrine of Christ (which is the FULL Counsel of the Word of God, not merely the impotent notion, “Jesus loves you”) God forbids us to even bid “God speed” (any well-wish or blessing, even “have a nice day”, “take care”, “travel safely”, etc.); and if we do so we are partakers in their wickedness—and are actual accomplices in their evil.  God is not double-minded.  He does not love whom He hates; He does not damn whom He loves; man does not damn himself.

Paul also taught that if any person does not work, he shall not eat.  Nearly all welfare / social programs violate the Word of God (in many ways).  God commanded us to work 6 days a week... He did not make exceptions for those who can think of an excuse not to work: if they don’t feel well, have an injury, or disability,* are tired, depressed, not in the mood, can make more money on welfare than working a job.  Helping those in need, as I have discussed earlier, is very limited in scope: those of our own people, if they are Christians, who hold to sound doctrine, who do not violate the Law of God, but obey what He commanded (not declare it “obsolete”), and are truly in need.  It does not refer to helping aliens, antichrists, perverts, those who are poor because they are lazy or make bad decisions (like spending the grocery and rent money on booze, cigarettes, tatoos, gambling, vacations, etc.)—those individuals are to “reap what they sow” and not to be pitied, but shunned.  God’s Law is not “pick and choose”, but “all of the above”; each law of God is a condition that is added to every other law, all of which are in harmony; not to their contradiction or exclusion.

* Not all illness or injury or disability are a free-pass not to work.  I’ve worked through incredible suffering for over 40 years; and no one has ever paid me not to work or because I am in pain or don’t feel well; and I put in 90-hour weeks (without any guarantee anyone is going to support my ministry or order a book).  If a person who works 40 hours a week is poor, it is because he is lazy and has no moral character / integrity.  Most anyone who has ever become a success has not become so by “punching a clock” and working a mere “9 to 5”.

The Oberlin covenant also maintained that the Christians living there were not to be tempted to “hoard up for old age, & for children”, but to live simply and save up as much money as possible to help widows, orphans, those in need, and for the salvation of men.  However, this is not Biblical.  God established other means to help widows, orphans, and the poor of our people; and there are qualifications that must be met.  These other means are: the tithe (every third year in a Sabbatical-cycle; not counting the Land Sabbath) the tithe was given to the Levites, kinsmen-strangers, widows, and orphans (Deuteronomy 26:12)—all other qualifications still applying; also God’s Law provided for allowing the poor of our people to glean the fields, vineyards, and orchards after harvest (again, all other laws of godliness applying); and God’s Command of the Jubilee Year in which all debts every 50th year were cancelled in full, also helped the poor.  Any other manner of helping qualified kinsmen in need, was a free will offering (above and beyond).  [See my book, Are We Keeping God’s Law Yet...?, 500pp., 6x9, pb., 25.00 + P&H.]

Scripture itself says, “A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children” (Proverbs 13:22a).  Scripture is quite clear about the importance of heritage and inheritance staying within the family.  Even widows, God commands, are not to be helped indiscriminately; and the widows must be widows indeed (having no other family whatsoever, who would first be responsibile to care for her); the widows, in order to receive financial assistence from the Church, must be over a certain age (or they are to remarry); they must have been wives who were obedient to their husbands, active members (not merely pew sitters) of the church, having taught the younger women (in word as well as by example) to obey their husbands, who were modest and godly (I Timothy 5*).  Those who were not godly are to expect no help from the church itself or from any other members of the church.  If they had not “invested in the church” by godly living and service, they are evil if they think that they should receive help in their time of need if they had not themselves given to help others throughout their lives.  You reap what you sow—widows and orphans included.

* In v.3 “children or nephews” is a mistranslation; it should be children or grandchildren.]

Connecticut-born, upstate New York lawyer Charles Finney (1792-1875), when praying to God, allegedly had an “experience”, which was so fervent he thought that he was going to pass out.  Finney related that he prayed that God would “turn it off”, as he could not endure it.  Thereafter the 6’ 3”, steely eyed and quite unsettlingly countenanced Finney’s theology departed from the rigid reverence for, and obedience to the Word of God and Reformed theology, in favor of more humanistic-leaning, emotion-oriented Wesleyan Arminianism that centers around man (“free will”); instead of centering around God (and God’s Sovereignty, Predestination, and Determinism), as true “Theology” does.  Shipherd was an admirer of Finney, and had spent some time with Finney in New York.  Finney asked Shipherd to stay and work with him in New York; but Shipherd ended up convincing Finney to follow him to Oberlin.

Finney, an instructor since the school’s founding, became its second president (offered the first presidency, but he turned it down), in 1850, serving until 1866. ....

The Oberlin Community actually developed around Oberlin College, and was formed as a Christian community.  Other towns (like Zion, Illinois) in the U.S., likewise, were specifically founded as Christian communities; in addition to the majority of all original settlements in the northeastern United States—in which a church was often erected before they even built their own houses.  However, the result of integration and violation of God’s Law has destroyed them all.

[.... More trouble in paradise...?  In 1966 they closed their graduate school in Theology (I guess it was no longer “practical”) and merged with Vanderbilt Divinity School! which university had already shed its Christian founding a half century earlier.

Vanderbilt (Nashville, Tennessee) was founded in 1875 by the Methodist Episcopal Church with a $1 million* endowment from Cornelius Vanderbilt (the wealthiest person in the U.S. at that time); but in 1915, a coup took place and the board tried to oust the Methodists from their own college; the Methodists won in the first court battle, but the Tennessee Supreme Court improperly overturned it, claiming that Vanderbilt founded the school, not Methodists; which is untrue.  Vanderbilt donated the money and did not even know they were going to name it after him. Regardless, the Methodists voted to abandon Vanderbilt and formed Southern Methodist University (University Park, Texas) and invested more money in Emory University (Atlanta, Georgia).

By the way, the median pay for the presidents of 419 private colleges and universities surveyed was $358,746.00, not counting benefits.  I think I should return to college and “major in” and get a degree in “College Presidency Science”.  The previous president of Oberlin College, Marvin Krislov received $552,956 / year + benefits.  The current president (I am not sure what her salary is) is a woman with an Arabic name (Ambar).  The Chief Investment Officer, Jainen Thayer, makes $643,821 + benefits.

The previous president of Antioch College, Thomas Manley, was paid $274,437 / year — and https://nonprofitlight.com/oh/yellow-springs/antioch-college-corporation indicates that the college’s total revenue was $17,435,566, while its total expenses were $21,246,138; they were over $3 million over budget / in the hole.  Gosh, they ought to get a job in government; they will fit right in...!  The college just needs its own printing press to cover that deficit.

It is nice that the liberals get stuck every now and then; although I still think that the court judgment was monstrously draconianly absurd (as 99% of settlements are).  Three blacks from Oberlin College were arrested, accused of shoplifting at a bakery and market in town (one allegedly trying to buy a bottle of wine with a fake ID—and the cashier noticed he had 2 bottles under his jacket; is not stealing alcohol a Federal Offense?)—and all three pled “guilty” in the plea bargain.  If I understand correctly, the black claimed that the store owners were “racist” (sounds like former Mayor of New York Marion Barry) in their accusation; and students from the college started demonstrating.  Lawsuits followed, and the Bakery sued the college for libel and tortious interference in the lawsuit.  The judge awarded the Bakery $31.5 million (the jury had awarded them $44 million; but the judge lowered it).  The college certainly should have been fined something... but it seems that the corrupt legal profession has turned into the “lawsuit lottery”.  The college appealed twice, unsuccessfully.  However, the Bakery’s business would seriously be affected, since they supplied the college with their baked goods (which the bakery had supplied to the college for over a century); and with the accusations made against them they would lose that contract as well as student business.

However, it is a man’s right to discriminate—and God commands it.  All such Equity / Civil Law is unconstitutional and unbiblical and has contributed to the destruction of the U.S., and turned it into a Talmudic system in which lawyers and other nonproducers stir up trouble and feed off society like parasites.  Unless the Bakery had a contract with the college to supply “y” for the next “x” years, then any loss of business is utterly meaningless in terms of the law.  No one has any guarantees that tomorrow his business will have the same customers it had today.  That is life.  In a free society one has the right to contract or not to contract (or to do business with or not do business with—without an actual contract) with whomever he pleases for any reason (even if he deems not to share that reason). 

According to God’s Commands, we are to ostracize / shun / discriminate against / boycott, etc. those whom He commands; including our own kinsmen / family if they live in violation of how God commanded and reject the rebuke discipline of the church, after which they are to be excommunicated until they repent; and you are to have nothing to do with them.  However, under an Antichrist, Talmudic legal system, if someone is rebuked or excommunicated, that wicked person sometimes even goes to court and sues the church.  This is even more reason that churches are NOT to be “open services”; but for “members only” (not open to the general public) in good standing; and those members should sign a contract professing faith in and obedience to the Scriptures, including Church Discipline, if it is ever called for.  Evangelism is to take place outside the church service.  Only confirmed believers are to be admitted to fellowship; after going through a discipleship program, after which they matriculate into the congregation.  It is the duty of the Pastor to protect the sheep!  What would you think of a Parole Officer that brought home for dinner a pedophile-rapist to meet the wife and kids...?  All of society’s ills can be traced directly to violating what God commanded. 

Even if the Bakery and the College had a contract, that does not mean automatically that the Bakery is entitled to 100% of the money that they would have earned over the course of the fulfillment of that contract.  What if the bakery was hit by a meteor, earthquake, (or as would be more common in Ohio) a tornado, or burned down, or went bankrupt...? or was condemned by the health department, or had an outbreak of a deadly communicable disease... would the bakery still be required to supply the college with baked goods or pay millions of dollars in lawsuit damages...?  Of course not; and it goes both ways.  Just because the bakery has enjoyed the wonderful blessing of having a college in its town for the past century, which constituted the majority of its business—does not mean that it is entitled, as a dependent, to their business forever.  Just because the bakery may have enjoyed $1 million / year (or whatever amount) worth of college business for x number of years does not mean that it is an inalienable right for it to receive $1 million / year of business forever.  8-tracts, records, and cassettes became obsolete; along with a plethora of other things.  There is no guarantee for tomorrow.  God even admonishes us not to trust in such.  Regardless, violation of the Commands of God has destroyed society, and it oppresses the majority and enriches and empowers a small handful.

Furthermore, after the case, it was discovered that a grandson of the bakery owner, had posted some “racist” comments on Facebook, in response to how his family had been treated.  The college liberals are crying that this verdict is a blow to free speech, but hypocritically, only to their own free speech; clearly they don’t think that anyone who disagrees with them should have the right to free speech.  However, the grandson’s comments, though unwise did not cause the blacks to commit 2 Federal crimes, in attempting to shoplift alcohol and attempting to buy alcohol with a fake ID.  That is the only issue.  I remember a few years ago, as the derangement of political correctness balloons, a NASCAR driver had his sponser cancel their contract because his father used the “N-word” (a word that most blacks use 100 times a day) 30 years earlier!  The grandson’s words have nothing to do with the shoplifting or attempt to buy alcohol with a fake ID—which could cause the bakery fines, loss of their liquor license, or even imprisonment if they sold alcohol to a minor.  See:

The Beginning of Knowledge

Although already mentioned, it is good to re-iterate it here that Scripture says: The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom and those who obey God’s Law* have good Understanding* (Psalm 111:10); the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Knowlege (Proverbs 1:7); the Fear of the Lord is to hate evil (Proverbs 8:13); “The Fear of the LORD is the beginning of Wisdom: and the Knowledge of the Holy* is Understanding” (Proverbs 9:10); and “The Fear of the LORD is the Instruction of Wisdom” (Proverbs 15:33). Scripture also refers to the Fear of the Lord as Strong Confidence and a Fountain of Life (Proverbs 14:26,27) and a Treasure (Isaiah 33:6).

[* The Hebrew word tôb, (in Psalm 111) could mean, “good” understanding, as it is translated, or it may be possible that it refers understanding that is pleasing in God’s Sight. Of course, those both mean exactly the same thing, if one actually understands what tôb / “good” is.  This Knowledge of the Holy (Proverbs 9) refers both to God Himself, as well as to His expressed Mind and Will—His Law: for it is His Law that separates and distinguishes that which is Holy and Good from that which is not.  “Wherefore the Law is Holy, and the Commandment Holy, and Just, and Good.”  (Romans 7:12)  The fact that keeping the Law cannot save anyone does not invalidate the reasons that God gave His Law.]

However, we shall focus on the words Understand, Wisdom, Knowledge, Truth.  The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of these related phenomena.  God is all Truth, Knowledge, Understanding, and Wisdom. God is incorporeal. He is Spirit.  He does not have a brain.  He does not think. He is Truth / Knowledge / Understanding / Wisdom.  He is Light, which, it would seem, is Pure (that is, 100% immaterial) Energy.

[* However, as I discussed in a Rumination titled, “ How can an immaterial God who is Spirit create a material universe? ”, although God is not material, He can appear as material (which is a rearrangement of energy), if He so desires.  While angels also are spirit (but not omnipotent), they too can appear in material form; otherwise it would seem that they could not interact with the material world (that is, if ones conception of spirit was merely a ghost that passes through walls and cannot be grasped).  However, that misperception is due to our not understanding what “material” / “matter” actually is (as well as not understanding what spirit is).  Such a spirit does not have to physically interact with matter (though it may still be possible for it to do so) in order to manipulate or destroy it—all that the angel (who is spirit) would have to do is strip the matter of some degree of its energy (which would cause the matter to cease to be altered, fall apart in some specific area and depending upon the degree of the energy stripping).

Man, in his skewed understanding and in his ignorance thinks that the material world, is the “real world”, and that the immaterial, metaphysical, or spiritual world is “a mere shadow, mirage, or fairy tale”.  However, in reality, the spirit world is the real world and the material world is the temporal mirage.  Physicists*¹ tell us that the majority of all matter is empty space (as cut grass, a flower, or steam from a kettle that quickly fades); and if all the matter in the universe were compressed (removing all empty space) it would fit in an area the size of a sugar cube.  Does that sound like the material world or the spirit (energy) world is the real world?  What we feel as solid matter is the electrical field created,*² in varying strengths (thus appearing as a gas, liquid, soft, or hard solids of many varying degrees) from the electrons, protons of each atom.

*² Imagine the force that is felt when 2 strong magnets are pushed together, aligned either by “like” or “opposite” poles (to either repel or attract).  Imagine also how static electricity is built up by friction when a person walks on a carpet in shoes with non-insulated soles in cool temperature.  Well, an electron (about 1/100-millionth the size of the atom, travels around the nucleus of the atom at about 2,200 k.p.s. (1,367 miles per second / 4,921,200 mph), which would be the equivalent of travelling around the earth in about 18 seconds.  Though less than 3/4 of 1% the speed of light (186,000 miles per second / 670,616,629 mph), that is fast.  Constant movement at that speed (with that g-force) produces the electro-magnetic field, and that force that is experienced as matter.  It is thought that a single electron has the power to lift 100 lbs. 1 foot in 1 second.

Imagine the force that it would take to remove a paperclip off a refrigerator magnet (of 100 gauss), as opposed to the force required to take a paperclip off a magnet that has 2,000 lb. of force or around 3,000 gauss; see Appendix A).  The difference between the two, is sort of like the difference between the electromagnetic force of electrons in a block of foam rubber, and the electromagnetic force of electrons in a block of steel.  The force increases the nonflexibility of either, and that is translated into how hard an object feels to the touch.  The density of the force is expressed in hardness.  But the hardness, in a sense, is an optical and tactical illusion produced by the electrons.

So, if all the electrons in each atom of which all matter is made were to simply discharge, all matter (you, the chair you are sitting in, the building that you are in, and Earth itself) would fall apart, scatter, disipate, disappear, and cease to exist (and be restored to “free energy”).  Compare it to turning a light switch off.  The light stops.  Imagine if that light switch controlled a massive electromagnet that powerfully magnetized a metal plate on the wall.  You could then take small metal ball bearings, and arrange them horizontally off that plate, and construct a replica of the Eifel Tower, held together by the force of the magnetic field.  But once you flip that switch off, the bonds break and the ball bearings fall on the floor and scatter randomly.  That is what would happen to the entire universe were God to simply “let go”.  Truly we are fearfully and wonderously made, and by Him all things consist.  God is the glue that holds the universe together.  Yet man, caught in the Matrix-Code, is deluded into thinking that this brief wisp of years is the real life—and sells his soul in the next life to clutch on to a few fistful of remaining years of pain, suffering, and wickedness.  And the greatest of fools think that “everything” blew up out of “nothing” and “evolved”.  See my, Stephen Hawking — Cosmic Tragedy — Hawking Fake Science... .]

Consider how humans learn (that is, how they obtain knowledge and understanding), from how the youngest child learns to read, onward into adulthood. We passively learn of external phenomena, by experience, through the introduction to ideographic, pictographic, and alphabetic images, paired with audio sound pronunciation of the words that those images describe, of things that are new to us.

You don’t have to learn what you already know; though, with us, there is a “starting point” at which anything that we know had to have been learned previously at time point of time in our lives.  God, on the other hand, has no potentiality.  He cannot learn anything.  That is not a deficiency, or a weakness, or inability, but it is a strength, an expression of His Omniscience, Omnipotence, and all capability—He already knows all, perfectly; but far different from our knowledge and understanding.  His Knowlege is not by “experience”, but, rather, is existential; not “external” to Himself, but internal; not “passive”, but active; not “learned”, but innate.  He created all that exists.  He has Creator Knowlege that acts upon; not “creature” knowledge that is “acted upon”.  He created (and not “blindly”—but with 100% calculated design) all that exists, all that is external to Himself (all that is not God).

Nothing is new to God.  Nothing took Him by surprise.  Nothing thwarted His Plan.  None of His Creation simply “went bad”.  Everything has happened exactly as He planned it for His own Purpose and Good Pleasure.  One of God’s Attributes, profoundly neglected, is Hate / Wrath.  The average nondoctrinal (emotion- and experience-oriented) “Christian” will shrink from that statement.  However, that is the only proper Attribute for a Good and Holy and Just God to have in the face of Evil.  However, God is Immutable and does not “re-act”.  He did not “grow” a New Attribute because sin, evil, wickedness “appeared on its own out of nowhere”.  God is not a defective Creator.  If sin was something that God did not want, plan, design, and create, for His Purpose, then 99.9% of His Creation “went bad”.  What would that say for His Perfection, Omniscience, Omnipotence, and Goodness...?  God created evil (as Scripture tells us in Isaiah 45:7) so that He might display His Anger / Hatred / Wrath—even as He created the vessels of wrath upon whom to display His Hatred and Wrath; and He created Hell for those vessels of Wrath.  God is not “sin” and God does not “sin”; though He planned and created the seeds of sin and evil.  God Authored the Script that it would follow (no one “ad libs” or writes their own script and sneaks it into God’s Script: for God would have to engage in “damage control” and write His Perfect Script around innumerable imperfect scripts).  God’s Hate and Anger are Perfect and Good—because His Attributes are not in contradiction to each other; but in perfect harmony.  God is Immutable.  He is not affected by what He creates.  God is the Author of Sin and Evil—but He is not the Actor of sin and evil.  God is not sinful or evil because He created it any more than He is a banana or a baboon for creating those things.  God is Immutable and is not changed by what He creates or plans.  However, God Himself does not sin; nor does He directly tempt any one with sin; that is why He made vessels of wrath, to be those intermediary tools.

Now that we have considered our limited and inferior learning of knowledge in comparison to God’s existential Knowledge, hopefully all will have a better understanding of reality.  God is Truth.  He is All in All.  It is in Him that we live and move and have our being and by Him all things consist.  To fear God is the beginning of Knowledge and Understanding.  We must accept what He has decreed to be true, to be right or wrong, good or evil, moral or immoral.  To reject His Declaration brings His Wrath.  To not hate evil is to reject what He has declared to be good or evil; and to not hate evil and love what is right and obey means that you don’t love God / Jesus.  Morality never changes.  What God declared to be sin and abominations 2,000 or 4,000 years ago still are today and ever will be.  Those who embrace those sins and abominations, thinking that Jesus abolished the Law of God don’t know God; they ally themselves with and become friends of the world—and marry themselves to evil (and love death); adopting the world’s perverse philosophy as if it is holy and rejecting what God commanded as if it were the worst evil and abominations that the world has ever known.  Those who call evil, what God called good, and vice versa, can never truly learn, and cannot please God—and are in hostile activity against God, being His enemies; all the while deluding themselves with the flattering notion that they are good “Christians” and that God is so pleased with them—even though they violate everything that He commanded and pollute themselves in every way imagineable.  This is strong delusion that God sent for them to believe a lie.  Every tree is known by its fruit (not solely its ancient root).  When evil and corruption is grafted onto branches of God’s Family Tree—God hews those branches off and casts them into the Fire.

When ye have done it not unto the least of these My brethren, ye have done it not unto Me...

This is not a game.  Christendom has already fallen.  Persecution will increase.  It is not happening to us because God is “happy” with us.  We have violated everything that He commanded and the majority of “Christians” and “Christian” churches think that Jesus abolished God’s Law (which Christ Himself said that He did NOT; so they follow a false christ who believe the opposite of what Christ Himself said—or if they twist and spuriously interpret anything in the Bible through the perverse notions of modern society; but morality never changes; God never changes).  No person can repent if he thinks that he has done nothing to repent of.  Merely saying that we need to repent is meaningless without actually identifying what sin is, what needs to be stopped, what needs to be done.  God does not compromise.  He is the Perfect Bookkeeper who meticulously records the Leger Sheets in Heaven of every single creature—including His people.  God will not give a “free pass” or overlook anything.  He is Holy.  Is your preacher / ministry preaching repentance and teaching what needs to be repented of...?  teaching what sin actually is...?  If not, he does not even know God and the Truth (Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit) is not in him (I John 2:4).  Hell is not a game.  The destruction of you, your family, our people, our community, our nation, Christendom, civilization is not a game.  Why should God deliver us from what we are willing to tolerate?  God does not hear the prayers of His people who are in unrepentant sin and who refuse to hear His Law (the unchanging moral code by which He commanded us to live forever).  Those who do not love what God loves and hate what God hates do not love God and are not of God.  Those who follow [obey] the voice of strangers and not the Voice of Christ, the Good Shepherd, are not His sheep, but goats (or dogs and swine).  If one is too lazy to read, or too dull-minded to understand God’s Word, all that one has to do in order to know what God forbade and hates is to look and see what the world (the majority of the mainstream “Christian” church included) glorifies, celebrates, and legislatively protects; and in order to know what God loves and commands, all one need do is look and see what the world (the majority of the mainstream “Christian” church included) hates, demonizes, and attempts to outlaw.  “Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil.”  Who is on the Lord’s Side...?  “Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” (Ephesians 5:14)]
